CDT-1T4B TDS Sensor

The TDS meter sensor from stainless steel. It has the characteristics of stable performance, high sensitivity and wide application range. The analog tds sensor​ has a simple structure and stable performance. It is easy to operate.

It for on-site monitoring of liquid water and salt dynamics. In addition, we can also apply it in ordinary water treatment, tap water, surface water, industrial water, reverse osmosis, seawater desalination, circulating water and other water treatment equipment sockets or flow cell installation to measure their conductivity.

Application

Drinking water safety:

◉TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) sensors can be used at home water dispensers or faucets to detect the total amount of dissolved solids in drinking water in real time. For example, when the TDS value of the water exceeds 500mg/L, the taste of the water may become worse, and it may contain more substances that are harmful to the human body, such as heavy metal ions and mineral salts.

 

Industrial consumption:

◉Circulating cooling water is widely used in industrial production. TDS meter sensor monitor the amount of dissolved solids in circulating water to prevent scaling and corrosion. For example, in cooling towers of thermal power plants, high TDS values in circulating water can lead to scale formation and reduce heat exchange efficiency.

 

Aquaculture:

◉In aquaculture ponds, analog tds sensor​ are used to monitor the quality of water bodies. Appropriate TDS values are one of the key factors for the success of aquaculture. For example, in freshwater fish farming, the appropriate TDS value is generally between 150-300 mg/L. If the TDS value is too high, it may stress the osmotic pressure regulation system of the fish, affecting its growth and health.

 

Agricultural irrigation:

◉TDS sensors can be used to assess the quality of irrigation water. Different crops have different tolerance ranges to TDS value of irrigation water. For example, most vegetable crops grow well when the irrigation water TDS value is less than 1000mg/L. If the TDS value of irrigation water is too high, it may lead to soil salinization and affect the growth of crops.
