CDT-12B Dissolved Oxygen (DO) Sensor bases its design on the principle of fluorescence and high performance via oxygen membrane. It has a short response time, accurate measurement, and stable performance. We can widely use it in chemical fertilizer, metallurgy, environmental protection water treatment engineering, pharmaceutical, biochemical, food, aquaculture and water for continuous monitoring of dissolved oxygen in the solution.

Application

Aquaculture:

◉In aquaculture, optical dissolved oxygen sensor are a vital tool. Respiration of aquatic organisms depends on dissolved oxygen in the water. Most fish need 5-8 mg/L of dissolved oxygen in the water to grow and survive well. DO sensors can monitor dissolved oxygen concentrations in aquaculture water in real time.

◉Long-term monitoring by DO sensors can also help farmers optimize breeding density and feeding strategies. For example, in high-density farming environments, fish consume dissolved oxygen in the water at a faster rate. The sensor data indicates that the breeding density has adjusted.
