Metal Wind Vane

It automatically aligns itself with real-time wind direction relying on the aerodynamic force difference between the large-area tail vane and narrow pointer. The whole assembly stably rotates around the vertical central axis until aerodynamic force reaches balance, with its precise angular position accurately converted into standard analog and digital electrical signals proportional to outdoor 360° omnidirectional wind direction data.

Product Overview

CDF-11B is a high-performance metal wind direction sensor, professional outdoor IP65 wind vane transducer with stable 360° omnidirectional measurement performance. Adopting classic tail vane wind measuring structure, this RS485 wind direction transmitter features sensitive response, accurate angle output and excellent long-term operation stability. The high-strength metal shell is anti-corrosion, waterproof and dustproof, perfectly adapting to complex harsh outdoor environments. It supports standard RS485 Modbus-RTU signal output, easy to install and maintain, widely applied to meteorological stations, agricultural monitoring, photovoltaic power stations and industrial wind environment observation systems.

Working Principle Of Wind Direction Vane Sensor

The wind vane automatically follows the wind direction to rotate, accurately converting real-time wind azimuth angle into stable RS485 digital signal output, realizing full-angle dead-angle-free wind direction monitoring in all outdoor weather conditions.
