CDY-11A Rain & Snow Sensor is a high sensitive detector to achieve qualitative detection of rain and snow. There is a ring conductor sense rain board on the surface. Products are optional automatic melting snow and melting ice function (automatic heating).When it rains or snows, it will output switch signal.

Application

Transportation sector:

◉On highways and ordinary roads, rain and snow sensors play an important role. When the sensor detects rain or snow, it transmits the signal to the traffic management system. Traffic authorities can respond to these signals in a timely manner.

Agricultural field:

◉In greenhouse planting, rain and snow sensors can be installed on the top of the greenhouse. When rain or snow is detected, the sensor transmits the signal to the greenhouse’s environmental control system. The system can automatically adjust the opening and closing of the greenhouse’s covering material (such as plastic film or glass) according to the signal, or control the position of the sunshade net.
