H2s sensor are widely used in production plants, pipeline connections, and near storage facilities. hydrogen sulfide gas sensor can monitor the concentration of hydrogen sulfide gas in real time, and has many advantages, extremely high sensitivity, and can detect very low concentration of hydrogen sulfide.

Application

The oil and gas industry:

◉Hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) is a common harmful gas in oil and natural gas extraction. The downhole environment is complex and may encounter formations containing high levels of hydrogen sulfide. Hydrogen sulfide sensors are installed in downhole equipment and near the wellhead to monitor hydrogen sulfide concentrations in real time.

◉Hydrogen sulfide sensors are used to detect hydrogen sulfide content in natural gas during natural gas purification plants and pipeline transportation. Because hydrogen sulfide is not only toxic, it can also corrode pipes and equipment.

Chemical industry:

◉Many chemical reactions involve the production or use of hydrogen sulfide. For example, in the process of sulfide preparation, some organic synthesis reactions (such as the synthesis of sulfur-containing compounds), hydrogen sulfide sensors are used to monitor the concentration of hydrogen sulfide in the reaction vessel.

◉A large number of chemical enterprises are usually concentrated in chemical parks, and hydrogen sulfide is one of the possible pollutants. Hydrogen sulfide sensors installed around and inside the chemical park can monitor the concentration of hydrogen sulfide in the air and assess the impact of the production activities of chemical enterprises on the surrounding environment.

Wastewater treatment industry:

◉Organic matter in sewage decomposes under anaerobic conditions to produce hydrogen sulfide. In sewage pumping stations and wastewater treatment plants, hydrogen sulfide sensors are used to monitor the concentration of hydrogen sulfide. Because hydrogen sulfide has a strong pungent odor, high concentrations of hydrogen sulfide can cause harm to the health of workers.
