Description
CDT-27B LORAWAN Soil Temperature&Moisture Sensor
LoRaWAN soil temperature and humidity sensor offers a multitude of advantages. Firstly, it exhibits a powerful long-distance transmission capacity with excellent signal penetration, enabling it to achieve a transmission distance of several kilometers in open areas. Secondly, it features low power consumption and a minimal sleep current, allowing it to operate on battery power for an extended period.
Thirdly, it attains a high level of measurement accuracy, thereby providing dependable data for agricultural applications. Fourthly, it possesses a robust anti-interference ability, ensuring stable data transmission even in complex electromagnetic environments.
Fifthly, it is effortless to deploy and install, eliminating the need for intricate wiring. Sixthly, it has a flexible configuration, permitting parameters to be adjusted according to specific requirements. Seventhly, it demonstrates good compatibility and scalability, facilitating integration with a variety of devices to construct monitoring systems. Eighthly, it is cost-effective, with both low hardware and maintenance costs.
Design structure
The sensor collects lorawan soil temperature and humidity data and then processes and packages it in accordance with the LoRaWAN protocol. After that, it sends the data to the nearby LoRaWAN gateway at a specific frequency (such as 433MHz, 868MHz (EU), 915MHz (NA), etc.) through the LoRa wireless communication module. The gateway then transmits the data to the cloud platform or server, and the user can access and view the data remotely through the corresponding terminal device.
Easy installation
Use a shovel to dig a suitable size mounting hole in the selected location. The depth of the hole is generally determined according to the length and requirements of the sensor probe, usually to ensure that the probe can be fully buried in the soil and has good contact with the soil. For example, for a sensor with a probe length of 10 cm, the mounting hole depth can be around 12-15 cm.
