Description
CDT-1T4B TDS Sensor
The TDS meter sensor from stainless steel. It has stable performance, high sensitivity, and a wide range of applications. The analog TDS sensor has a simple design and works reliably. It is easy to use.
It is used to monitor liquid water and salt changes on-site. We can also use it for regular water treatment. This includes tap water, surface water, and industrial water.
It works for reverse osmosis, seawater desalination, and circulating water. We can install it in different water treatment control system to measure TDS.

Application
Drinking water safety:
◉TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) sensors can be used in home water quality testing dispensers or faucets. They detect the total amount of dissolved solids in drinking water in real time.
For example, when the TDS value of water goes over 500 mg/L, the taste can get worse. It may also have more harmful substances, like heavy metals and mineral salts.
Industrial consumption:
◉Circulating cooling water is commonly used in industry. A TDS meter sensor checks the level of dissolved solids in the water. This helps prevent scaling and corrosion.
In cooling towers of power plants, high TDS levels in circulating water can cause scale buildup. This can lower heat exchange efficiency.
Aquaculture:
◉In aquaculture ponds, farmers use analog TDS meters to monitor the quality of water bodies. Appropriate TDS values are one of the key factors for the success of aquaculture.
In freshwater fish farming, the right TDS value is usually between 150 and 300 mg/L. If the TDS value is too high, it can stress the fish. This stress affects their growth and health.
Agricultural irrigation:
◉TDS meters help check the quality of irrigation water. Different crops can handle different TDS levels in the water.
For example, most vegetable crops grow well when the irrigation water TDS value is below 1000 mg/L. If the TDS value is too high, it can cause soil salinization and harm crop growth.
