Description
CDT-1T3B Soil Layers Temperature&Moisture Sensor
The CDT-1T3B soil sensor with three, four, or five layers. Each layer of soil has a real sensor. This makes the data more accurate than other tubular sensors on the market.
The soil layer sensors in each layer are filled with epoxy resin glue. This glue holds all the devices in place. The measured data will not change and is more accurate. This also protects the sensor during transport.

Application
Agriculture:
◉In modern farming, precision irrigation is important for better water use and crop growth. Multi-layer soil sensors measure temperature and humidity at different soil depths. When growing wheat in dry areas, the sensor measures temperature and humidity. It checks these factors in three layers: 0-10 cm, 10-20 cm, and 20-30 cm.
◉In the root growth stage of crops, knowing the temperature and humidity of deep soil is very important. Roots grow and absorb nutrients better in the right temperature and humidity. We can study how temperature and humidity at different soil levels affect crop root development using sensor data. For example, when the temperature in the 20-30 cm soil layer is 20-25 ℃ and the humidity is 60-70%, corn roots grow the best.
Forestry field:
◉The multi-layer soil temperature and humidity sensor helps manage the seedling matrix in tree cultivation. For example, when growing pine trees, we can find the best planting time by checking the shallow soil temperature. When the soil temperature is around 15-20 ℃, it helps pine seeds to germinate.
Environmental monitoring:
◉Multilayer soil temperature and humidity sensors help study soil water balance. By placing sensors in various spots in an area, we can track water inputs, like rainfall and irrigation. We can also measure water outputs, such as evaporation and plant transpiration, at different soil levels.
