Description
CDW-11A BLACK GLOBE TEMPERATURE SENSOR
Overview
The CDW-11A Black Globe Temperature Sensor has a black sphere and a built-in temperature sensor. The black sphere takes in different types of radiation from its surroundings. This includes solar, ground, and air radiation.
It also transfers heat to the air around it by convection and conduction. When the sphere reaches thermal balance, its temperature shows the overall thermal condition of the environment. The built-in temperature sensor changes the sphere’s temperature into an electrical signal. This lets us measure the black globe temperature.
