What are the varieties of anemometers?

1. Cup anemometer:

3. Hot-wire anemometer:

– Structure: A hot-wire anemometer consists of a thin wire made of a temperature-sensitive material, such as platinum. The wire is heated electrically and exposed to the wind flow. It is equipped with temperature sensors and electrical circuitry.

– Function: As the wind flows across the wire, it cools down the wire, causing a change in its resistance. The electrical circuitry measures this change in resistance, which is then used to calculate the wind speed.
