Description
CDG-13B Ultraviolet(UV) Radiation Sensor
The CDG-13B UV Radiation Sensor as a precision instrument for measuring the sun’s ultraviolet (UVA & UVB) in the atmosphere. When using this uv radiation resistant sensors along with the relevant information acquisition instruments, it can offer data that the public is concerned about, such as the UV index, UV erythema measurement, the health effects of UV, and special biological and chemical aspects related to UV.
We highly value it in meteorology, industry, construction, and medical fields. We widely use it in studying the erythema dose caused by exposure, the integrated environmental and ecological effects, climate change, as well as in ultraviolet radiation monitoring and forecasting.

Application
Environmental monitoring:
◉Used by weather stations and environmental monitoring agencies to measure the intensity of ultraviolet radiation in real time to calculate the Ultraviolet Index (UVI). The UV index is a measure of the extent to which ultraviolet radiation in a place is likely to cause damage to human skin. The higher the value, the greater the potential damage to skin and eyes.
◉Ultraviolet sensors can monitor atmospheric concentrations of pollutants such as ozone (O), sulfur dioxide (SO₂), and nitrogen dioxide (NO₂). These pollutants absorb or scatter ultraviolet light. By analyzing the attenuation of ultraviolet light, we can infer the amount of pollutants.
Industrial application:
◉Uv curing technology is widely used in the production of coatings, inks, adhesives and other products. The uv radiation resistant sensors can accurately monitor the UV exposure dose to ensure that the curing process meets the requirements.
◉In semiconductor manufacturing and microelectronics industry, lithography is one of the key processes. We use ultraviolet sensors to monitor the intensity and uniformity of ultraviolet light sources in lithography equipment, ensuring that we can transfer high-precision patterns to materials such as silicon wafers.
